This project proposes a new tele-controller system based on Dual-Tone-Multiple-Frequency technique to control a robot as an alternative. It is found that the proposed system has a large capacity in sending and receiving data as to hardware and software. Moreover, it is not necessary to install a PC for receiving and sending data as tone-modulated form at slave side. On the other hand, its adaptive ability with different phone lines, no necessity of sparing network devices, such as network card, no contribution from local internet networks and finally different master interfacing capabilities with a single slave are all examples of the advantages of this system. Also, possibility of simultaneous use of internet lines through ADSL technology for other applications such as sending video images is another (important) advantage of this system. This project describes several robot interfacing and/or control systems with some tests and experiments in accordance to the standards and delay-time specified by ISO9283.
